THE STORY:

Boy Scouts of America wrote -

Held annually the first Sunday in May, the TD Five Boro Bike Tour is America’s largest cycling event. The Tour is co-produced by Bike New York and the New York City Department of Transportation. The event provides participants the unique and fun experience to bike through all five boroughs – a 40 mile, traffic-free ride for 32,000 cyclists. Join Team Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils in helping raise funds to support the over 46,000 youth we serve.

Members of Team Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils agree to raise a minimum of $1,500 by June 30, 2015.

Team members receive:

  • Free registration and guaranteed entrance to the 2015 TD Five Boro Bike Tour
  • Team Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils duffle bag stuffed with goodies
  • Custom 2015 Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils Team cycling jersey

The Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils is at the forefront of delivering innovative and life changing programs to the youth of New York City.  By running for the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils team, that person will help to support ordinary kids to become extraordinary adults through comprehensive youth development programs that teach values, character, leadership, and life skills.  We are in the business of changing lives. 100% of the funds raised will help the Greater New York Councils provide needed monies to help support the programs for our youth.

Please note: If you’ve secured your own entry to the 2015 TD Five Boro Bike Tour and do not need one of our charity entries, you are not subject to the minimum fundraising requirement. If you have your own entry but would like to join Team Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils, contact Cedric Bodley at (212) 651-2808. You can still create a webpage to raise funds for to support our youth. Raise $1,500 by June 30, 2015, to receive a team jersey and team duffle bag!
