Thank you for supporting me in my run for Every Mother Counts. I live in Brooklyn, NY with my wife Grace, and two boys Anderson and Liam. A few years after we moved to New York, Grace was in labor for 19 hours with our first son, Anderson, before ultimately needing an emergency C-section. Thankfully, she had wonderful medical care at Roosevelt Hospital and both she and Anderson came through fine. Without it, I would have surely lost them both. I am running for Grace, and for every mother.
My training program has been somewhat unorthodox. Rather than run every day or so, I have been doing one big run on the weekends and a lot of walking during the week between business meetings and the kids events. The big run has grown longer, from 7-8 miles to 10-11 miles, as the event has gotten closer, so I'm feeling confident I can pull this off, but it will be interesting nonetheless. I encourage you to follow me on race day to see how it goes.
