First United Methodist Church wrote -Bradley’s House of Hope was founded in 2005 as a place to provide physical therapy for children in the Managua, Nicaragua area. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere and there is a tremendous need to provide help for the special needs children who live there. Currently, there are over 70 children receiving much needed therapy at Bradley’s House. We are attempting to raise money to expand the equestrian therapy program, and are looking for sponsors. The children who participate in the equestrian therapy program light up like a Christmas tree when around the horses, and the joy they feel is beyond description! We are attempting to raise funds by doing a weight loss challenge. We currently have 16 people who have committed to losing weight (the individual weight goals vary) and are looking for sponsors. If you would like to sponsor an individual, just pledge a dollar amount and hopefully when the challenge wraps up on September 11, there will be 16 people a little more healthy and lots of funds raised for Bradley’s House.
