BENEFITING: BRAIN TUMOR FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: BRAIN TUMOR FOUNDATION
I lost my oldest friend Vernon to a brain tumor in Ocotber 2016, Vern was my friend since the age of 5. How many people do you really know for your entire life? His diagnosis was devastating for all of his friends, his family and his wife but he fought the best he could and never complained all the way until he passed.
I miss my friend every day and did my best to support him, now I feel I can continue that support by raising money for brain tumor research and to help others stricken with this difficult diagnosis.
* Brain tumors can be extremely aggressive. They are rarely detected at a size and stage when surgical removal results in a treatment that is successful and sustained.
* Close to 1,000,000 people are living with brain tumors that have yet to be detected.
* Brain tumors do not discriminate.
