BENEFITING: United Nations Foundation
The United Nations Malaria Fellowship Program is a program which aims to increase awareness about malaria among college students and empower them to act in support of malaria prevention, diagnostics, and treatments - especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. UN Foundation Malaria Fellows will work under the Nothing But Nets campaign of the United Nations Foundation and will work in partnership with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. The program will incorporate awareness-raising activities, advocacy, and fundraising in support of the UN Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign, a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness and funding to fight malaria, a leading cause of death among children in Sub-Saharan Africa." The Brandeis Nothing But Nets Campaign group is working to raise awareness and funds for malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.
