Breaking The Glass Ceiling !!
May 18, 2016
THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO DONATED TO MY FUNDRAISER!! I made it to the DNC and was able to do so because of you! I witnessed history in the making, to watch the first female be nominated as President. For this I will always be grateful! THANK YOU AGAIN !!
I am raising funds to attend the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, it is a very expensive endeavor. I am asking YOU, to PLEASE HELP send DNC Delegate, Sheila Lieder (me) to a History making event at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia PA. As a Tireless Leader of 34 years in the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Labor Union and the Democratic Party holding a variety of Leadership positions for 16+ years!
Additionally, in the span of a few months, I attended caucus, congressional , county assemblies and the state convention located throughout the Denver Metro area and Northern Colorado to earn your votes. I succeeded in securing a spot as a (PLEO) Party Leader - Elected Official, to be a (DNC) delegate.
I believe as a current 34 year member of a Labor Union, it is time that a strong supporter of Labor gets to represent the Democratic Party at this level. I also believe Labor Unions current level of representation is far below what is appropriate. I will be honored to be part of the nomination for our Next President of the United States of America, Hillary Clinton. I tried to gain delegate status for Hillary in 2008, but we all know how that worked out. This is very special to me, to be able to witness & participate in the nomination of Hillary Clinton, the most qualified person for the job of Commander in Chief, who happens to be a woman! This will be a history making event. I would be very appreciative of any contribution you could give, so Please be a part of History and give. Thank you in advance for your support.
