THE STORY:

The high heel shoe, reimagined!

Breaking Heels is a fashion brand that provides women with comfort, style and the opportunity to leave a positive mark. Using CAD and 3D printers, we developed a patent-pending height-adjustable high heel shoe that fully transforms from a flat to a heel (from ¾ inch wedge to a 4-inch heel with the press of a button) making it ideal for day or night. We deliver a double-bottom line to our customers: innovation in footwear, comfort and style, and the opportunity to directly contribute to a social cause.

“Breaking Heels” is a street term used by pimps and traffickers to describe the sex industry. Our goal is to reclaim this phrase, flip it on its head and make it a positive statement against human trafficking. Part of our proceeds from each pair sold will go toward a scholarship fund for survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. By purchasing our shoes, our customers are wearing a symbol for the cause and directly helping to combat this issue.
