THE STORY:
The beginning of August was the beginning of a new journey for the Smith family. My nephew's young wife, Breanna, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). As devastating as it was, her faith and family have seen her through many fast and furious chemo treatments. She had spent weeks in the hospital for treatment. Bone marrow biopsies show she is stable and in remission.
