BENEFITING: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
ORGANIZER: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
Why I'm running
This year I'm running to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I'm dedicating my run to my longtime bestie Susan who overcame Breast Cancer this year. Your strength (and humor) is incredible and you are my hero! I'm also running in memory of my partner's mom Sunshine who passed away two year's ago. Research not only saves lives it also makes a huge difference to the quality of life for people fighting cancer. This year I'm in for BCRF, and thank you so much for supporting this incredible organization.

THE BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION® (BCRF) IS RUNNING THE 2013 ING NYC MARATHON TO RAISE CRITICAL FUNDS FOR LIFESAVING MEDICAL RESEARCH.
Our BCRF marathon team is diverse—we are survivors, family members, employees, supporters, allies, professionals, runners, non-runners, and even researchers. But what we have in common is one thing: the desire and dedication to do our part to help bring about a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. For over 20 years, BCRF-funded researchers have been at the forefront of nearly every significant breakthrough in understanding, preventing and treating the disease. We know that the answers continue to lie in science, and that the only thing standing in the way is research funding. With your help, together we can accelerate progress and achieve a world without breast cancer.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE:
• Click the big DONATE button and contribute anything you can to support BCRF on behalf of one of our runners.
• Click the JOIN THE TEAM button and start your own fundraising page to help raise funds for critical lifesaving research. Then share your fundraiser with all your amazing family and friends to spread the word.
