BENEFITING: Arc of Madison County Inc
Fun Experience for Toddlers with Special Needs The Arc of Madison County was founded in the 50s by a group of parents seeking services and support for children with disabilities. Today, the nonprofit supports those in our community who have needs that other services won’t meet. The Toddler Infant Program especially is beneficial. Serving children from birth to three years of age, the Arc’s early intervention program is family-centered and offers many services to the children and their families including social and psychological services, music and speech therapy, and special instruction. One of the things the children really benefit from is being able to play in a safe community environment. The staff would like to take the kids to a specialist place for them to play in a therapeutic center, but they rely on donations for outings like this. We’re raising funds for the Arc’s kids to get the opportunity.
