BENEFITING: CANS FOR HOPE
EVENT DATE: Mar 18, 2014
This year, I'm turning over my birthday to a cause I deeply care about.
My greatest wish is for us to do something together. Every dollar I can raise will directly support a cause and organization I love - Cans For Hope.
Cans For Hope sets up recycling programs to raise funds and awareness for people who are struggling with sexual abuse, survivors of sex trafficking, and to educate youth and adults about bullying and eating disorders. The organization is dedicated to restoring lost identities and repairing broken lives.
My goal is to raise $370, or ten times my new age. If you can give $1, that would be an amazing blessing and much appreciated. However, I want to entice you to consider donating more...
I began a photography project in September 2013, shortly after my father passed away. I call it "Find Beauty Everyday" and the experience has allowed me to capture scenes and moments that reflect the ordinary beauty of this life.
For a donation of $37 or more, you will be a "10 percenter" and you will receive a signed, high-quality print of one photograph from my "Find Beauty Everyday" collection, suitable for framing (you will be able to choose from about ten of the very best ones.) I do not sell my photos; this is the only way I've made my work available to acquire. Once again, 100% of your donation goes to Cans For Hope - I will pay for the printing.
You can choose your print from this gallery:
(Make a note of the number of the photo you would like.)
I would love to share my art with you, while we together contribute toward a very worthy cause. This, indeed, is the greatest gift I could ask for this year.
(Disclosure: I serve on Cans For Hope's board of directors. I believe in it THAT MUCH.)
