Dear Xtra Miler's supporter,…
Dear Xtra Miler's supporter,

Thank you for supporting the Xtra Miler's! On November 9th, the team completed 235.8 miles in support of their children, nephew, friends, patients and the entire Fragile X community! What an inspirational, persistent and determined group of people. The team consisted of Parents, family members, friends, researchers, Dr. Berry-Kravis, and Tony Ferlenda, the CEO of the National Fragile X Foundation.

The team promoted a tremendous amount of awareness and as a team, including offline donations and corporate matching they raised $17, 238!!!!!

Thank you for your generous donation and support!

With much gratitude,

Missy Zolecki and the Greater Chicago Fragile X Group

Well I completed the Princet…
Well I completed the Princeton Ironman 70.3 on Sunday. It was ugly but I got it done. Did the 1.2 mile swim in 41 minutes, the 56 mile bike in 2:56 and the 13.1 mile run in 2:30. My total time was 6:18. Not too shabby but I can do better. It was my first ½ IronMan so it was a learning experience. The swim and bike were fine but the run was a disaster because my legs were cramping real bad. Around mile 4, I started eating pretzels and potato chips for the salt and that saved me and got me to the finish line.

More importantly, as the main charity partner of the Princeton IronMan 70.3, Stomp the Monster raised over $260,000 which will help over 500 families that are in the fight of their life against cancer. We all know how stressful life is in general, raising kids, bringing them to sports, homework, putting food on the table, paying the bills, car problems, elderly parents, etc., etc., etc. Throw on top of that a cancer diagnosis where all of a sudden you have huge medical bills, doctors, chemotherapy, and you’re are not working as much so you have less money and less time but you still have to get it all done. At some point, things fall through the cracks. Stomp the Monster was created to help fill those cracks and ease that extra stress caused by fighting this terrible disease. Your donation is going toward paying for groceries or rent or fixing a car or transportation to and from doctor visits. Your donation is going toward easing the pain of someone struggling to get through a very tough time in their life.

On behalf of Stomp the Monster, I want to thank you so much for your donation.
You are AWESOME!!!

Thanks,
