Bridges of Hope was founded by Daniel Zopoula, who grew up in Burkina Faso, Africa, one of the poorest nations in the world. After suffering through a childhood filled with the horrors of starvation, physical abuse, and watching those he loved die, he miraculously was given the opportunity to move to North America. Once here he started sending money back to his family, but he was driven by the idea that he could help more people and Bridges of Hope was founded. We are a non-profit organisation, staffed mostly by volunteers. We connect with other non-profit organisations to bring relief to people where they need it the most. We assist with everything from fresh water wells, to medical care, orphanages, farm crops, and education, to name just some of the areas.
