BENEFITING: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Not many people know how deadly aneurysms are until they faced with one head on. Our mother, Bridget passed away suddenly of an abdominal aortic aneurysm in February. For the one year mark we are going to be holding an event for family and friends that had the pleasure of knowing Bridget. Since we are limited to a smaller space we would like to reach out to anyone else that would be willing to donate in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
There is not much that can be done when an aneurysm ruptures. Before our mom was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm four days before she passed, we had no knowledge of what it or how dangerous it was. Hopefully, with some help from you we can raise money to donate to a charity that our mom would be proud to donate to while spreading awareness about aneurysms.
Our project started off with the proceeds going to the American Heart Association, however we decided to change it to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Bridget loved kids more than anything. Her face lit up everytime she had the chance to interact with a child and her smile wouldn't fade for hours after. Therefore after much consideration we decided to donate all of the proceeds to St. Jude.
