BENEFITING: Brigham and Women's Hospital
ORGANIZER: Brigham and Women's Hospital
EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
Every year when I watch the Boston marathon, I am inspired to run. Whenever I see runners, I get the chills because I am so moved by the determination and grit each and every runner exhibits. The support and devotion for Boston and respective charities is overpowering and I am honored to be a part of it. Further, I have been inspired by my dad who has run three Boston marathons, my cousin Mike, who ran after beating cancer, and my cousin Christina, who ran the Boston marathon twice so she could get to the finish line and show her support of Boston and BWH.
I am running in loving memory of my Nana and for my friends and family, who have always unconditionally loved and supported me. I am looking forward to starting this challenging journey!
I am writing to ask you to donate to Brigham and Women's Hospital in support of my 2015 Boston Marathon run. I am incredibly fortunate and excited to be able to run the 2015 Boston Marathon for Brigham and Women's. As one of the best hospitals in the world, they are incredibly devoted to improving patient care through innovative research and treatment. I am honored and looking forward to raising money to support a hospital that provides life giving medical breakthroughs in the US and globally.
Thank you for your generosity and support (emotional or financial). I am so incredibly appreciative and grateful.

A proud partner with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.), Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is excited to present two exceptional Boston Marathon teams this year: our core BWH Marathon Team, which supports life-giving breakthroughs across all disciplines and disease areas at the hospital; and the Stepping Strong Marathon Team, initiated by a Boston Marathon bombing survivor, which fuels innovative research and clinical programs in trauma healing and limb reconstruction at BWH. Since 1998, our BWH Marathon Team has raised more than $6.6 million to support world-class patient-centered care, groundbreaking research, community programs, and education for the next generation of healthcare leaders. Thank you for supporting this transformational work.
