EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
Dear Family and Friends
I am very excited and grateful to be running the 2015 Boston Marathon with the Brigham and Womens Hospital Marathon team! I am running in Honor of my Grandmother Natalie who passed away from Cancer in May of 2013.
I am raising money for life-giving research which includes finding a means to prevent and cure cancer, improve the diagnosis of cancer, and alleviate the pain and suffering of cancer patients. Funding also goes to Alzhimers and parkinson research as well as many other challenging and devistating diseases we still not yet have found cures for. Any donation would be grately appreciated and will bring me closer to my goal of raising $10,000!!!
You can also follow my blog while I relay my experiences and thoughts throughout my training and fundraising!!
Thank you to my Mom Dad Stepdad Siblings and Boyfriend for you're continuous love and support!!
A proud partner with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.), Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is excited to present two exceptional Boston Marathon teams this year: our core BWH Marathon Team, which supports life-giving breakthroughs across all disciplines and disease areas at the hospital; and the Stepping Strong Marathon Team, initiated by a Boston Marathon bombing survivor, which fuels innovative research and clinical programs in trauma healing and limb reconstruction at BWH. Since 1998, our BWH Marathon Team has raised more than $6.6 million to support world-class patient-centered care, groundbreaking research, community programs, and education for the next generation of healthcare leaders. Thank you for supporting this transformational work.
