First and foremost, thank you all again for supporting me in my wild hobby of running long distance and fundraising for local charities. After last year's painful and tiring, yet wonderful, meaningful, memorable and amazing race, it was very difficult to turn down the opportunity to be a part of the Brigham & Women's fundraising team. While running and fundraising in 2014 was more work than I could have ever imagined, I'm more than willing to take on the challenge to raise $5,000 and represent the iconic Brigham & Women's Hospital during the 2015 Boston Marathon. Not only is the Brigham the organization that brought me into this world in 1989, but a place that continues day in and day out to improve the world's knowledge through ground-breaking research for countless diseases. It's an honor to be a part of such a historical and experienced team this year, and I can't wait to make you all proud on race day in April!

A proud partner with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.), Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is excited to present two exceptional Boston Marathon teams this year: our core BWH Marathon Team, which supports life-giving breakthroughs across all disciplines and disease areas at the hospital; and the Stepping Strong Marathon Team, initiated by a Boston Marathon bombing survivor, which fuels innovative research and clinical programs in trauma healing and limb reconstruction at BWH. Since 1998, our BWH Marathon Team has raised more than $6.6 million to support world-class patient-centered care, groundbreaking research, community programs, and education for the next generation of healthcare leaders. Thank you for supporting this transformational work.
