BENEFITING: BRIGHT FUTURE FOUNDATION FOR EAGLE COUNTY
Celebrating over 30 years of providing compassionate violence prevention and intervention services in Eagle County, Bright Future Foundation (BFF) is dedicated to Making Futures Bright for those affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse. Annually, BFF provides approximately 670 Eagle County families and individuals with emergency shelter, Trauma-Focused Counseling and advocacy services, and/or safe, affordable housing through our Rapid Re-Housing Program.
Funds raised during the Purple Purse Campaign help provide long-term healing and financial stability for survivors, and to eliminate all forms of violence in our community. With your help, we believe it's a goal that's well within our reach!
BFF offers a full complement of professional services and proactive and culturally sensitive programs that help to break the generational cycle of violence by providing immediate relief to families in need. All wrap around services are provided within one organization with a clinical holistic approach in an effort to support each of them to experience long-term change, and ultimately individual self-sufficiency.
Core programs include: 24/7 crisis hotline (English & Spanish), Freedom Ranch Safehouse/emergency shelter and Rapid Re-Housing, Ensuring Freedom housing program, psychological services, legal representation, financial literacy, youth advocacy and mentorship, and outreach education. Our successful youth advocacy and mentorship programs include the Buddy Mentors Program, which is based on the Big Brothers/Big Sisters model of mentorship, and the EmpowerMENt/EmpowHERment Program teaching middle and high school students the importance of healthy relationships in all aspects of life.
