I have had the honor of being a counselor for 6 years at this wonderful camp. Camp Rap A Hope is a is an organization that provides year-long programming and a week-long summer camp to children between the ages of 7 and 17 who have, or have ever had, cancer. Most of the campers come from communities along more than 300 miles of the central Gulf Coast; from the Florida panhandle to the Louisiana Texas border.
Camp Rap-A-Hope's programs are provided FREE OF CHARGE to the campers and their families. Cancer has been costly enough. Bring Home the Bacon Race raised over $10,000 last year and this year we hope to exceed that. Any contribution will help me to reach my goal and help ensure these kids have the best time at camp.
