Bring My Brother Home
Organized by: Michelle Saucier
My brother needs your help. Mike has been following his dreams which lead him to Vietnam where he has been teaching Vietnamese children for about a year and a half. In that time, he fell in love with a beautiful woman and her two year old daughter. He married her and now they are expecting a baby. They had it all worked out and planned to travel to the United States for the baby to be born, and to wait for the process to be complete in order for her to be able to move here with him so they could have a good life where women and girls are treated the way they should be, and their children can have a good education. Unfortunately they did not know the time restraints in which they were working with and do not have enough time to save enough money to start the processes to get them here before she is unable to travel according to their laws. And if they don't, my brother will have to return to the United States until sometime after the baby is born. He is broken about the possibility of having to leave his new wife and daughter and missing the birth of his baby. They need $500 immediately in order to start the Visa process, and they can start working on the money for plane tickets and other preparations in the meantime. It takes several months for the Visas to be approved and she only has a short time left before she cannot travel. I was speaking to my brother's wife about the way the hospitals and doctors treat pregnant women in Vietnam and I don't want her to have to birth her baby there. The more money you have, the better they treat you. But they don't have any money so she is not treated very nicely. Please help in any way you can. Even if it is just sharing this, it would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!
