Bring Darin Home
Organized by: Cheyenne Montonaro
This page is for a man who has been away from his family for going on 11 years now. My dad left in 2004 to make a difference in the south after a hurricane hit Florida. He chose to help those in need while also trying to support his family in Illinois in order to keep a roof over our heads and food in our mouths. My dad then moved to New Orleans doing hurricane restoration work after hurricane Katrina in 2005. Eventually work dried up and he couldn't find a job in Illinois at the time so he moved to Dallas where he got offered a job as an asphalt and concrete company manager. We live paycheck to paycheck and running 2 households leaves no room for us to save. My dad works 60+ hours a week trying to support his family. Our financial means are scarce and having my dad home for good would make not only my life but my whole families lives complete again. Seeing him 3 times a year is just so hard on our family and we miss our dad tremendously. We thank you so very much for taking the time to read our story & recognize how amazing of a father, son and husband my dad is. I'll never stop trying to get him home for good. Thank you and God bless.
