BENEFITING: HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC SCHOOL WITH FENCING IN THE SCHOOLS INC
PLEASE READ THIS STORY:
Olympic Silver Medalist Tim Morehouse in helping to get kids fencing in the area!
Fencing in the Schools has already successfully raised $5,000 to launch school programs in Idaho at Pocatello Community Charter and the Academy at Roosevelt Center to serve over 400 students with fencing programs and Olympian role-models!
We want our kids to Fence, too! Watch this Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mrqG50qZlg#t=11
This program led by 501c3 Charity, FENCING IN THE SCHOOLS will bring Olympic level instruction to our PE coach Dave Berry and fencing equipment to HSCS so that current and future students can benefit from the discipline, healthy exercise and strategic thinking that fencing has to offer. Each year Mr. Berry would have access to equipment and a 6 course Unit of Instruction to interweave into his already diverse PE program.
The JRM Foundation For Humanity, founders of the Idaho’s Hometown Heroes, has GENEROUSLY offered to MATCH our contribution of $2500 to help us reach the $5,000 total that is required to engage in the program and purchase the equipment for HSCS. JRM Foundation for Humanity has already helped raise the $5000 with Fencing in the Schools Inc. and led another Crowdrise fundraiser to raise a total of $10,000 for both Charter and Academy who are already engaging in this program. We are all grateful for their generosity and support!
Why I am hoping that you contribute even a little today: Tim Morehouse himself will be here in Pocatello to kick off the programs for the other schools September 22, 23rd and 24th. It would be great to have him speak with our kids and we are working to arrange that now.
