“Over specialize and you breed in weakness”

Being tied to one country, one affiliation and group of people has been a norm for such a long time.  This works if your target and goal fall in the same circle.  This makes allows a reason of reliability, so long as what and who you are targeting does not change drastic and suddenly.  A slow and or steady change can be adapted to while staying with in the field of comfort.

The invention of the internet has changed many things.  Ideas spread like wild fire, product is viewed and ordered across oceans.  The advancement of aeronautics has improved.  Making travel more accessible and faster.   This has brought the world a little closer together.  No longer is a business confined to just the city or country it was founded in.  An idea can begin on one side of the glob and worked and improved upon on the other.

So why must news still be so local?  Why must we only hear about the hard ship and sadness across the globe? Each major network reaches out with their reporters to every corner yes.  What is it they report on however?  Who tells them where to go?  What if there was a group not bound by the ‘powers of the board’?

A model has been proving itself.  MSF or Doctors without Borders.  I want to take this model and turn it into a new out let.  Just think if we could; in 2014 MSF treated 46,900 people for cholera, 2015 treated 2,350,692 people for malaria, and admitted 217,900 malnourished children to feeding programs in 2014.  Not treat a disease like a virus, bacteria or parasite but the illness of complacency and ignorance.

There is more than just sadness and despair out here though.  So often then news goes from one tragedy to another and endless cycle of gloom.   There is joy and amazement to be shared.  Stories of hope and inspiration.  So often these slip through the first of the editors and big board groups.   Shock and awe sells.  However we all have a desire for wonder.  The elation we have at seeing something miraculous in such a bewildering place or situation.

With a few whispers this is can spread. With a slight nudge this can take off.  With a little help this becomes real. And together we all become a little wise, happier and closer.  Thank you for your time and your help making this world a little better.
