Bringing Food Forests to NE FL - Community Food Forest #2
Organized by: Tina Harden
BFFTNEF was established to make access to fresh, organic produce easy & free for the food insecure of NE Florida utilizing permaculture techniques. This avenue allows us to create not just a single self-sustaining food forest garden in each community but also spread the knowledge of health and wellness to the community at large.
Our current project, Somer's Garden, is a thriving memorial to Somer Thompson and feeds students from Grove Park Elementary, a Title I school, as well as community members.
Your support will allow us to install a 2nd Community Food Forest Garden in an additional Title I school district in Clay County, Florida.
