My entire life, I've loved family and children. Kids have flocked to me and I naturally chose to go into teaching as a profession. Right out of college, I began teaching elementary school and I continue to enjoy it to this day. I love working with children and molding them into confident, intelligent, caring, and polite individuals. This part was of my life has been easy. Finding the love of my life, however, took a lot longer.
A year and a half ago at the age of 39, my prince charming finally showed and we married. Without a doubt, we wanted to start a family right away. However, after trying for a year, it didn't happen. In fact, I even went through a traumatizing miscarriage. The past year and a half has been a very trying time for me, as I KNOW I am meant to be a mother. As we are running out of time, my husband and I are turning to our last resort with in vitro fertilization. Both my husband and I are teachers, so this expense is not affordable. I've always been responsible with my money and planned for the future, however, this is an expense that we could not afford with our income. I've never been a person who needs an expensive car, a big house, or fancy clothes, but I do need to be a mother. I've always been a nurturing, loving, and patient person. I only hope that I will be able to nurture my own child just as I nurtured many of my students over the years. I sincerely appreciate any donation you can make for my cause.
