The Bristol Veterans Council, Inc. was established in 1945. From the beginning the focus was to show honor and pay tribute to Veterans - past, present and future. The same holds true today. The newest program opened in July 2016 - Veterans Strong Community Center - is an information and resource center to serve Veterans - past, present and future. The Center has resources and provides direct contact with subject matter experts/service providers regardless of where the Veteran lives. Service Members and Military Families are also welcome to utilize the Center. The Center is located in Bristol (CT) City Hall. Service Providers available on a regular basis include, but are not limited to, accredited Veteran Service Officers, Department of Labor Veteran Employment Representatives, and fund volunteers for Soldiers', Sailors' and Marines' Fund. The Veterans Assistance Specialist is networked state-wide for a variety of Veterans' resources. Bristol Veterans Council, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please make your tax deductible donation today to help keep the Veterans Strong Community Center, and other programs of the Council, going so they can continue their mission of honoring Veterans - past, present and future.
