BENEFITING: Nomi Network
Most people come to Washington, D.C., for the monuments. We've seen too much of them. Since early September, we've spent hours running past Honest Abe, General Washington, TJ, and museum after museum (they're not as impressive the tenth time around). Why? To fight human trafficking. On November 19, we'll race in the Annapolis Running Classic half-marathon on behalf of Nomi Network (www.nominetwork.org), an inspirational NGO that provides economic opportunities to Indian and Cambodian women who have survived, or are at risk of falling into, modern-day slavery. Please join us in supporting this incredible organization, and don't worry, we'll do all the hard work!
