THE STORY:

Event Date: May 25, 2015 at 9:00am

On Memorial Day 2015 Opportunity Detroit and Justin Verlander’s Wins for Warriors are coming together to engage the community in local mental health programs and services supporting veterans and their families, while having an unforgettable experience in downtown Detroit.

This isn't just any race!  Participants will end with an unforgettable experience of running along the warning track at Comerica Park while family and friends cheer them on from the stands.

Also, in case you were wondering, 9K is just about 5.6 miles. There will be a 1 mile walking option that will also finish at home plate!
