Last Christmas we held a Christmas Store for the families and students of Brown Elementary, (located in Chicago). Then we built a Parent's Lounge, helping provide access to things like computers for the families of the students. Then as you can see to the left an After School Art Program, because funding for the arts was lost in cuts.
We had so much fun being a part of Brown Elementary, we are creating a Back to School Store for the fall of 2011. Only everything at our "store" will be free.
We have lists of needed supplies for each child, and are working on getting all of those things. What we need your help with is uniforms.
For $18, you can provide clothing (a polo and a pair of Khakis) for a child so they can go to school! The Goal is $5,000, which will get each child a new polo and pair of khakis.
