EVENT DATE: Oct 27, 2015
Join Brown Men's Soccer as they take the field at 7:00PM in a charity game against UMass Lowell!
When you support the Bears, you also support Grassroot Soccer, an international adolescent health organization that educates, inspires, and mobilizes young people to overcome their greatest health challenges and live healthier, more productive lives. Grassroot Soccer's work in Southern Africa and throughout the world connects at-risk young people with the mentors, information, and health services they need to thrive, and empowers adolescents to make educated choices about pressing health challenges such as HIV/AIDS, sexual health, gender-based violence, and malaria. To date, Grassroot Soccer has reached more than 1.2 million young people in 50 countries.
All funds will support Grassroot Soccers work in Africa! Every $25 raised empowers one young person with life-changing education programming.
Grassroot Soccer is pleased to be partnering with Positive Tracks, a non-profit that helps young people get active and give back using the power of sport, by doubling the dollars they raise through athletic events, like Charity Games.
