Hello Everyone! In the spirit of giving, we at Building Skills Partnership are ramping up our Bay Area holiday fundraising drive. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of volunteers, grants, and community support in order to provide educational and career advancement opportunities to janitors and other low-wage immigrant workers in the greater Bay Area. In 2011, with volunteer and community support, BSP has reached over 800 low-wage workers in the greater Bay Area through 17 Vocational ESL and job skills classes at work sites, 6 Community Life Skills ESL classes, 5 Basic Computer Literacy classes, 1 Intermediate Computer class, 8 Health Education workshops and screenings, and 3 one-on-one volunteer tutoring programs. We hope to reach even more workers in the year 2012,so we are working to raise $7,500 that will go towards 2 new ESL courses and 1 new computer literacy course! If you would like to take part in continuing and increasing BSP’s services and offerings in the 2012 year, please consider donating here to support BSP. Thanks very much for your support!
