Buchheit of Centralia has chosen to donate all proceeds raised at the Buchheit of Centralia to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation again for 2016. Buchheit’s $1,896.00 donation last year helped pay for the 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography machine that was purchased by St. Mary’s Hospital. This upgrade provides clearer images for the radiologists and has assisted in earlier detection in many patients. A woman named Marcia was treated at St. Mary's as well as her husband. Her husband first was diagnosed with abdominal aortic aneurysm and despite the family wanting him to go to a major medical center, he wanted to stay at St. Mary's and have his surgery.
