THE STORY:

My name is Andrew. I attend Buckeye Union High School and I love theatre. It's my passion and dedicated art form of choice. And I'm not the only one. My little group of theatre geeks are all very devoted to our theatre program and put a lot of time and energy into the craft. Our theatre teacher, director, and in a way leader, Mr.Hayes is absolutely amazing. He's done so much for the program. He has devoted years to us, he has set up Skype interviews with actors and professions in the film industry as part of the advanced acting class, and he has a lot of trust in us by giving advanced material. He allowed the students to not only perform, but write their own play. And our most recent project is a comedy titled Lend Me a Tenor. It's a fantastic farce, filled with physical comedy with slight tongue in cheek humor. The only problem is that it can be very pricey. From the lumber and paint for the set, to the costumes, to the props, the programs, makeup and over $1000 for royalties... It gets expensive. And I thought that just standing around complaining wouldn't fix anything, so let’s try to do something about it. Now I am asking for your help. Donations will be used for production necessities. Anything extra will be used to benefit the program with things like scholarships for students to attend Thespian festival, field trips to attend Broadway shows, and future production costs. Thanks so much, and break a leg.
