THE STORY:
The Bread and Roses Collective House is committed to modeling cooperative living, ecological sustainability, social justice and community participation in the heart of Syracuse, NY. Currently ten members of a variety of ages (from 1.5 years to over 50) and cultural backgrounds live together in the two houses. Our nonprofit mission is to provide low income housing.
We often host meetings for community groups in our common spaces. The first floor of our newly renovated house at 405 Westcott Street is designed to be accessible… but we are missing the ramp to help get people inside!
Can you help us raise the funds to build the ramp?
OUR GOAL IS $10,000.
The ramp will provide improved access to the first floor where we host educational events, skill shares and provide meeting space for activist groups who strive for social, environmental, and economic justice.
