BENEFITING: City of Hope
Building Hope, a strategic initiative for emerging leaders in the Los Angeles real estate community, was founded in 2011 with the goal of raising funds and awareness for City of Hope.
2012 - 2013 fundraiser was a success!
In 2012 we determined a goal of $50,000 to be raised for City of Hope for the purchase of a DNA Extraction Robot for the laboratory of Smita Bhatia, M.D., M.P.H., the Ruth Ziegler Chair in Population Sciences, to aid researchers in determining why some survivors of childhood cancers have serious complications later in life. City of Hope scientists will use this equipment to collect and analyze thousands of blood samples from children treated at 135 institutions across the country. At the end of the year we raised over $50,000 and met our goal!
Thank you to all those who supported this effort!
