I live in a village in Zambia, Africa called Mwantalasha Village. It is a village with slightly over 100 mud thatched houses with a population approximately 500 people. 50% of these are children while 25% are aged most of whom have no means of livelihood. 80% of the children in Mwantalasha Village are either orphans or vulnerable children due HIV AIDS pandemic. The aged in this viilage have end-up looking after children whose parents have died. Education for the children in Mwantalasha Village is a major need. My appeal for funds is intended to build a Youth Empowerment Centre that will provide education, recreation and psychosocial counselling services to these orphans and vulnerable children. Will you join hands with me and help build this needed facility. I am a programme management specialist with experience in programme design and implementation. I have worked with World vision as Programme Coordinator/Manager for five (5) years, National Council of Zambia YMCA as the Executive Director and National Coordinator of the Zambia Clubfoot Programme. My profile speaks for itself in terms of programme management. Help me to help the children of Mwantalasha Village. Yours will be a worthwhile support.
