BENEFITING: FRIENDS OF THE NATURE CONSERVANCY OF CANADA INC
Imagine a place with pristine meadows, 30 acres of wetlands filled with birds, and nesting bluebirds for the first time in 40 years! Now imagine that this place is only one mile west of the city limits of Edmonton. Welcome to the Bunchberry Meadows Conservation Area! Some of the last remaining old growth trees in Alberta are found on this full section of land – 640 acres virtually untouched for over 50 years.
A Co-Owner of the property explained his motivation behind this unique project: “It is so important that we protect as much of the living spaces we can; not just for us but for everything else that lives here”.
We have a short amount of time to raise the remaining $4 Million to secure this project protecting this special place for all time. Please join us in making this a legacy for all to enjoy for now and forever. We don’t have a second chance. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Please donate now.
