Butler Timmy Global Health Guatemala Medical Trip
Organized by: Grace Cooper
Butler University's Timmy Global Health is a student organization that fights global health disparities and expands the access of healthcare to those without it. Every year, a group of Butler students from the chapter take a week long medical brigade trip to Xela, Guatemala and set out every day to a different rural community to provide healthcare to the community. These students prepare all year to assure that their service reaches it's highest potential by allowing them to perform at their greatest level. Throughout the week, our chapter helps hundreds of people who lack the access of basic healthcare needs. With Butler's medical brigade to Guatemala, hundreds of people are given the healthcare essentials that many of us take for granted. The Butler students participate in a week of life-changing experiences and personal growth through their passion for the mission of Timmy Global Health's medical trips. The students are eager to give a week of their time to dedicate towards early mornings and long nights of helping the amazing people that are met thoughout the different communities. This trip not only helps others, but creates an eye-opening experience for many of the trip volunteers. Please join Butler's Timmy Global Health chapter in making this trip as amazing as it is.
