The Capital Area law Enforcement Foundation (C.A.L.E.F) Inc. was founded in 2012 by Metropolitan Police Detective Joe Crespo, Travis Barton, and Officer Greg Alemian. After 9 years assisting the Washington, D.C. Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors in the annual golf tournament, a need for an organization to assist law enforcement officers that were injured in the line of duty or suffered from a career ending ailment was thought of. Though most law enforcement charitable organizations do a great job in assisting families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, we must not forget those that have sacrificed their lives or have suffered a career ending injury or ailment. This foundation was created by law enforcement officers and we are committed to those that sacrifice their lives and need a helping hand. The Capital Area law Enforcement Foundation Inc. operates solely on donations from citizens and businesses, and are always looking for community support. All of our board members are law enforcement officers and/or survivors that volunteer their time to this organization.
The Capital Area Law Enforcement Foundation is a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) with the Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
We will be participating in a "Fundraiser Vehicle Demolition Derby" at the Prince William County Fair located in Prince William County Virginia. All procedes will go to the C.A.L.E.F. charity.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
