BENEFITING: SAN FRANCISCO BAY BIRD OBSERVATORY
Come one, come all, and donate to this very worthy cause of conserving birds and their habitat in the San Francisco Bay Area! The California Fall Challenge is an annual fundraising event for the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory. It is basically a bird-a-thon, in which I will count the birds I see during a 24 hour period. The funds raised help the Bird Observatory continue to apply science and outreach to the conservation of birds and their habitats.
My team, The Road Runners, is made up of myself, Dave Johnston, Austin Johnston (age 3) and Gina Barton. We plan to have fun while seeing as many birds as we can, all while keeping a 3-year old on task and covering as much ground as possible. If you help me, and the birds, by donating to the cause, I will send you an account of our trip and a list of the birds we saw. Thanks everyone!
