Calls for Kids Telecast 2016
EVENT DATE: Apr 16, 2016
The Calls for Kids Telecast, hosted by Nashville’s News 2’s talent, benefits RMHC of Nashville and the families of critically ill children who need the services provided by the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room.
During the Calls for Kids Telecast, we highlight our programs and the families who need them as well as the volunteers, companies and organizations who support our programs each year. During the three-hour live event, production is divided among the phone bank where volunteers, prominent community leaders and local celebrities field phone calls from donors, live and taped interviews with families, live and taped interviews with donors, and video segments that give viewers a closer look at our House, Family Room, the pull tab program, and our unique quilt program.

Why is your help so important?
Each year, hundreds of families with critically ill children rely on our House and thousands of individuals each month rely on our Family Room. Without our programs, families are faced with sleeping in waiting rooms, in their cars, or being too far away from their sick children because they have no place to stay. To date, more than 11,800 families have benefited from the Nashville Ronald McDonald House and more than 270,000 individuals have visited our Family Room at the Children’s Hospital thanks to the generous support of our community.
