Calvary's Nicaragua Mission Trip
Organized by: Greg Osborn
A group of high school students and chaperones of Calvary Community Church have the opportunity to return to Nicaragua to help the children. There are 22 of us going on this mission. We will be engaging in various activities with a network of local churches in and around the communities. Nicaragua is the second most impoverished nation in the western hemisphere, and the situation among the population is desperate. Our time will be spent feeding children, visiting orphanages, ministering to the sick in the hospital, engaging in sports evangelism, and of course, spreading the hope of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. We have had donated hundreds of family staples, like toothpaste, hair brushes, soap, towels, etc. and even gifts for the children. Our goal was to raise $44,000 we are $18,000 short. Calvary has generously given us the difference to allow us to go. We will continue to try and raise the $18,000 to return it to the Church's general fund. We are leaving in a couple of days. The dates for our trip are June 22-30 2015. Thank you for finding it in your heart to support our cause. God Bless.
