BENEFITING: STOKED MENTORING
Cameron James Howe, age 20 of Westport CT, beloved son of Jim and Patti Howe and loving brother of Caroline Howe passed away September 6, 2012. Cameron lived more in his 20 years than most live in a long lifetime. He had a zest for life and dedication to follow his dreams. This led Cameron to attend high school at Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, where he graduated with honors while competing as a nationally ranked snowboarder. For college he chose to go west and move from the snow to the surf, attending the University of California Santa Barbara.
The Howe family has chosen STOKED as a vehicle to launch the Cameron Howe 'Live a Big Life Fund' that will allow friends and family to donate and fundraise in tribute to Cameron. STOKED's mission is to promote personal development, academic achievement, and healthy living through action sports culture. STOKED is a 501c3 non profit that works with low income youth in both New York and Los Angeles.
