BENEFITING: THE CENTER FOR ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN WOMEN
Dear Friends ~
Over the years, I have been privileged to serve on the Board of The Center for Asian Pacific American Women(CAPAW). What makes The Center special to me is seeing profound changes in individuals that our programs have touched, and the subsequent impact folks have on their communities. This is leadership from the inside out.
Continuing the path of self-introspection, I embark on the classical Camino de Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage on April 15—May 25, 2016. The 1200 year-old spiritual journey begins near the eastern border of Spain, on the French side of the Pyrenees, to Santiago de Compostela. Total distance is 500 miles—plus extra for getting lost. The time is devoted to meditative walking, very much like the inner conversations The Center’s Summits, Regional Conferences, and APAWLI program espouse.
I am asking for your support to help other women develop their own personal leadership journeys through The Center’s programs - Biennial Summits, Regional Conferences and APAWLI program. Should you participate at any level, I and future CAPAW program participants would be grateful.
