Excitement has been growing for the Directors and Friends of Camp Frances. We are now ready to begin our “16 in 16” campaign. The goal of the “16 in 16” campaign is to raise $16,000 during 2016. “Thanks to a generous matching challenge by Charlotte City Manager Gregg Guetschow, we have received pledges and contributions of $8000 since the start of the year,” said Camp Frances President Brenda Bly. “We are now starting a crowd-funding effort to raise the next $8000.” Funds raised through “16 in 16” will be used to expand outdoor and environmental programs for families and for facility upkeep. “Over the years, many local businesses and organizations have supported Camp Frances with their donations of money, services and time,” Ms. Bly said. “The crowd-funding campaign provides an opportunity for individuals and families to help us create new memories for the next generation.” The Camp Frances Educational and Recreational Center is a Michigan municipal nonprofit corporation. It has been recognized as a charitable organization by the IRS under section 501(c)(3). To make your donation, click on the green button at the top. We appreciate your donation.
