On November 3 I will be running my fifth straight ING New York City Marathon.
This year I am runnning to support Camp Interactive, a New York City-based not-for-profit organization that brings technology education infused with leadership skills to inner-city youth.
My adopted cousin, who had a tough childhood, was able to start a career thanks to his passion for computer science and programing. Would you believe that ninety percent of American high schools don’t have computer programing classes? The amount of jobs that require computer skills is growing tremendously.
So if I look at my cousin, from a health and educational perspective, this is an area where if I can move the needle a bit toward increased awareness and raise money for kids to go to camp. And you can help!
Please take a moment and donate now.
My goal is to raise $5000, enough to send 10 children to Camp Interactive.
I really appreciate your support!
