THE STORY:

I am running the Marine Corps Marathon on October 26, 2014 in Washington D.C. I was inspired to run this marathon, of course, because my hero, Cpl. Ryan Graal is a Marine. He has defended our country along with all of his brothers and sisters, and i wanted to run the MCM to show him how proud I am of him, and all of his heroism. :)

I love to run to support a great cause. This year, I am raising money for Team Racing 4 Veterans. Team R4V creates life-changing opportunities for our wounded veterans. By taking a holistic approach to to getting vets "back in the game,"

Unlike other organizations, Team R4V is a one-stop shop for all wounded veterans’ athletic needs. Team R4V provides assistance to veterans from all branches of the military, supports all veterans, not just athletes, and provides services and programs on a national scope. Sports teach wounded veterans to focus on their ability, not their disability, believe in themselves, and to overcome obstacles by facing new challenges  head on, both in sports andTeam R4V is able to make a substantial impact on the physical, mental and emotional well being of wounded veterans and their families.

If you ask anyone who has ever served in the Armed Forces, being physically active is a part of their everyday life, whether they are injured or not. What better way to give back to those are are fighting for our freedom and for our lives, than to fight and raise money, so they can get back to their "normal" lives! Please help me in reaching my goal to raise money for this amazing cause!

Thank you!

Camryn
