Canadian Mudd Queens Running to End Kids Cancers
Organized by: Tanya Logan
Event Name: Spartan Charity Challenge
EVENT DATE Sep 21, 2014
Also known for our signature The eh? Team logo, the Canadian Mudd Queens is a team of obstacle course racers from across Canada. Brought together by our love of obstacle course racing, we help each other with support, advice, race information and ride/accommodation sharing. This year we wanted to go beyond just ourselves and dedicate our racing for a cause. The cause we chose this year is the Sears Great Canadian Run, The relay to end Kids Cancers.
We have committed as a team to run a relay of 100km and raise funds in support of kids’ cancer research. Our relay team for 2014 will consist of almost 20 Mudd Queens of various fitness levels. Some have committed to run 5k some have committed to 20, 40, 50 and even one crazy Mudd Queen will take on the full 100k. Each person will give what they have in them on that day and we will support and encourage each other along the way. That’s really what it is all about for us!
