In the summer of 2008 I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. In 2010, I found out about this amazing charity called Stupid Cancer. Stupid Cancer provides peer support, education, and advocacy for young adults with cancer. Getting involved with this group has changed my life and provided me with an amazing support system I never knew I needed.
In 2011, I ran my first half marathon for Team Stupid Cancer. Since then I have run 3 more half marathons and multiple 5Ks. It's my way of giving back to an organization that has given so much to me. I will be running 7 races between now and CancerCon to celebrate 7 years cancer free! It is also a way for me to honor those members of the Stupid Cancer family who are no longer with us. #7for7
Please give generously to help me reach my goal of $2000.
