The mission of CancerFree KIDS is to eradicate cancer as a life-threatening disease in children by funding promising and innovative childhood cancer research that might otherwise go unfunded. CFK is based on the belief that one day every child can be cancer-free. Our goal has always been simple: raise as much money as possible, spend as little as possible to do so then give the entire surplus away to promising pediatric cancer research. and start over each year. This is what we have successfully been doing since our inception in 2002. We have awarded close to $3 million in promising and innovative childhood cancer research to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
